Matanivusi Beach Eco-Resort is located in the heart of the Fiji’s Coral Coast halfway between the international airport in Nadi and the Suva, the capital city. 12 absolute beachfront rooms:
Each bure is divided into 2 separate accommodation areas with their own en suite. The rooms are tastefully furnished with a king size bed (or 2 king singles), mosquito net for that tropical feel, a coffee table and relaxing chairs. All rooms are screened.
As Matanivusi is a sustainable resort, they do not offer packaged, one-time use bath products. They do supply bath soaps & towels, pool & boat towels as well as complimentary bottled Fiji Water in each room daily. Room service is provided daily. All guests are encouraged to practice energy conservation so hair dryers are not provided. However, guests are welcome to bring their own to use at the resort.

offers an eclectic fusion of Fijian, Indian and contemporary dishes using only the freshest ingredients. The Restaurant and Bar has been designed with the intention of maximizing the view of the coral fringed lagoon, The ‘Dua Tali’ Bar (the ‘One Moore Bar’ – named in honour of a great friend – Marcus Moore) is a full service bar with a wide variety of tropical concoctions for your delight. The Bar also has a selection of wine and beers, along with a full range of spirits and liqueurs.

Sustainability:The resort has been planned as an eco-resort. The principles being to make as little impact as possible during construction, implement best sustainable operating practices and integration with the local Fijian villagers. Minimal clearing was done to allow for the main building and the 6 bures. Sited just metres from the sandy beach the buildings are a metre above ground level. Using post and beam construction there has been minimal disturbance to the area. The native vegetation along the beachfront has been maintained and new plantings will protect the beach from any erosion & rising storm surges. There is also a natural rock platform that acts as a buffer to trap the sand on the beach. For sewage treatment they use a biolytix waste management system to reduce local pollution and waste. The effluent is used, to provide underground drip irrigation for the garden. Water conservation. The resort collects rainwater in tanks for use throughout.
