The resort is situated on the island of Taveuni just 15 minutes from the domestic airport at Matei. It is conveniently located close to all land based activities and on the doorstep of the legendary Rainbow Reef.

TYPES OF ACCOMMODATIONS:

15 well-appointed OCEAN VIEW rooms are on the first floor with private balconies, and with four of these rooms inter-connecting, it's ideal for families.

3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children under 12 years // Bed configuration – 1 King (can separate into 2 twins) + 1 single + 1 cot

15 OCEAN FRONT rooms on the ground floor are larger with private outdoor patio.

All rooms feature King-size beds (split 2 twins), air conditioning, flatscreen with DVD players, mini-fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, modern en-suites, electronic safes, telephones.

OPTIONAL MEAL PLAN: Includes cooked breakfast, 2 course lunch and 3 course dinner(lobster is not included), afternoon tea and fresh baked pastry. Beverages include tea and coffee only. All other beverages are not included. A KIDS menu is available and children 9 years and under get 50% discount off the standard meal plan rate. A small pizza can be substituted for a main course on the daily menu

World-class Scuba Diving: Fed by the nutrient-rich waters that flow through the Somosomo Straits, Taveuni’s Rainbow Reef is home to world class dive sites including, the Great White Wall, The Zoo, Barracuda Hole, Yellow Tunnel, The Ledge, Annie’s Bommie, Blue Ribbon Eel Reef and many more. Garden Island Resort, a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort has a fully equipped dive center on site with professional and friendly dive crew. We offer introductory “Discover Scuba” up to “Dive Master” PADI Certification courses. Nitrox is also available and must be pre-confirmed.

Eco-Tours & Adventures: Journey through national rainforest parks, coastal walks where the jungle meets the ocean, visit gorgeous white sand beaches and waterfalls that plunge into the sea. Visit secluded spots like Devoux Peak where you might spot the Tagimoucia flower, only on Taveuni, or the Orange Dove and the Silk tail, rare bird species only to be found on this island. Take in the stunning landscape on horseback, enjoy natural waterslides and waterfalls, visit the local villages or head down to the water sports center to go kayaking or snorkeling.
