Sau Bay Resort & Spa sits in southeastern Vanua Levu, Fiji’s second-largest island, reachable by Fiji Airways (Fiji Link) flights to Labasa, Savusavu, and Matei (Taveuni). The quickest route is via Matei: ~90 minutes from Nadi or ~60 minutes from Suva. From Taveuni it’s a 40-minute road and boat transfer. The bay is remote with no roads—access by boat from Natuvu jetty (taxi-accessible) or a Taveuni landing.
From Taveuni a local taxi will be arranged to meet you for the 10 minute drive to the landing for your boat transfer to the resort (20 minutes).
From Savusavu a local taxi will be arranged to meet you for the 1 hour car ride on the scenic ‘Hibiscus Highway’ followed by a 20 minute boat ride to the resort. You may choose to arrive and depart from different airports.

Scuba Diving w/ in-house full service PADI dive center: Sau Bay Resort is the closest resort to the most incredible dive spots on the Rainbow Reef, known as the "soft coral capital of the world' for its brilliant colors and healthy soft coral formations, including the infamous White Wall. Being located only minutes from the reef by boat means that you have more time to enjoy at the resort.
Mantaray excursions can be arranged as add-on on dive trips or as individual snorkeling trips.
