Rafting on the Upper Navua River
In the remote highlands of Viti Levu lies one of the most unique river trips on Earth. Slicing a deep chasm through the island's tropical interior, the Upper Navua River is the hidden pathway to a pristine tropical wilderness. Shrouded in lush rainforest, fed by countless waterfalls, and protected by challenging rapids, the Upper Navua River is Fiji rafting at its best. Your exploration of this amazing river is perhaps one of the most unique journeys in all of Fiji, if not the South Pacific and the World. This excursion will take you through some of the country's most formidable and phenomenally beautiful terrain in the relative comfort of inflatable rafts. Hike through rainforest, paddle exciting class Il-Ill whitewater, explore hidden grottoes and enjoy the numerous waterfalls that spill into this remarkable canyon.

Full itinerary
Pickup at resort in Pacific Harbour / Depart from Pacific Harbour at 7am
Arrive at the Nabukelevu junction at 7.30 to 8am
4WD bus to take all guests on the Nabukelevu dirt road to the Upper Navua river putin for 1 hour 10 minutes
Banana bread on the midway point
River rafting commences at 9.30 to 10am
Lunch around 1pm
Arrive at the takeout point at 3pm
4WD bus to transport guest to the main road.
Meet hotel transport at the main road at 4 to 4.30pm
Arrive at Pacific Harbour before 5pm
Middle Navua River Kayaking
Journey through a tropical paradise on the way to the quaint high-land village of Wainadiro. Enjoy a morning refreshment before a brief training and safety session then it's time to hit the water! Raft or paddle your inflatable kayak in the fun, Class Il whitewater of the Middle Navua River. Hike to a magnificent waterfall, swim in the spectacular pools and then enjoy a river-side picnic lunch. A short distance past the waterfall, you are transferred to a motorized punt for a scenic ride down the Navua River. Pass by serine villages and majestic waterfalls enroute to the takeout where you will be met by vehicles and returned to your resort in Pacific Harbour.

Arrive at the Beqa dirt road junction at 8.30 to 9am
4WD bus to take all guests on the Wainadiro river putin for 45minutes

Visit water fall and Lunch around 1pm
Arrive at the takeout point at 2.30 to 3pm
Motorize boat from takeout point to Nakavu village Navua
4WD bus to transport guest to Pacific Harbour / The Pearl
